How to choose a safe DC/AC inverter

Inverters are power products. Whether the inverter is safe to use concerns every user. So how to choose a safe inverter?

1. The inverter has complete protection functions:

1. Battery under-voltage protection: When the voltage is abnormal, the inverter buzzer alarm prompts;

2. Overload power protection: When the overload power is triggered, the inverter buzzer alarm prompts in battery mode, and the inverter automatically shuts down when the overload is 10%; in AC mode, the circuit breaker or fuse will cut off the power;

3. Inverter output short-circuit protection: When the short-circuit protection is triggered, the inverter buzzer alarm prompts and automatically shuts down in battery mode; in AC mode, the circuit breaker or fuse will cut off the power;

4. Temperature protection: The inverter has temperature protection. When the temperature exceeds the protection temperature set by the inverter, the output will stop automatically.

2. Output waveform of the inverter

The output waveform of the inverter affects its load capacity. The rectangular wave output of the modified sine wave inverter cannot completely drive the inductive load electrical appliances normally, and will cause high heat, abnormal noise, breakdown or failure to start, and may also burn out the inverter. The waveform output by the pure sine wave inverter is basically the same as the AC waveform of the mains power grid, with little interference to precision equipment and can drive inductive load electrical appliances.
